fitworking Friday 3.

Updated: Oct 3

It's fitworking Friday time again, yippee 🥳

Just a few weeks ago I was thinking about piloting an idea - and now, four fab sessions later, it’s happened.

The Devil’s Quoits may have been a place for coming together and connection for 5,000 years, but Rebecca helped us set a new standard on Monday. We also wondered what happened on the island, helped ourselves to plentiful blackberries and didn’t get completely lost. Rebecca hosts a very splendid and long-running podcast right here > https://www.academicimperfectionist.com/ but be careful: you might pop in for five minutes and find it’s Tuesday lunchtime before you come back out.

Wednesday evening was the last of the pilots. We were joined by Katie from https://www.studio45pilates.com/ who talked about the history of Pilates and shared her wellbeing journey which encouraged everyone else to chip in too. Common themes in a lovely group discussion were moments of inspiration and sharing fitness with others before we got into the serious stuff. Orange squash v red squash. We did Pilates together on the field just before sunset and just as a tiny chill took the air. Check out Katie’s highly recommended classes via the link above.

I’ve sent a very short survey to all who’ve attended a pilot to gather your ideas on fitworking’s next steps - but even if you haven’t it would be super if you could complete it - oh, go on.

I’ll then consider the feedback and we’ll go from there!

Thanks again everybody … enjoy your weekend ❇️

As a logical, system-oriented thinker I wasn't sure how a philosophical session would sit but I loved the discussions that ensued!
