Hello.
I'm Liam.
I've had a career in change, in leadership, and making things better. Working in different roles across many sectors, I've always had an eye on innovation and making connections.

My Story.
In January 2020, Patrick, my youngest son died suddenly, my Dad died, then COVID hit us all.
Eventually, I understood that I needed to do things differently.
I ran my first marathon. I had an acclaimed book called 'Red Balloons' published.
I wanted a break from the corporate world, so took voluntary redundancy. But I didn't know what to do next. I wanted to find something special.
And I was confident that one day the idea would come. Somewhere at the intersection of:
-
What I'm good at - coaching, improving, connecting.
-
What I love - personal fitness, learning.
-
What's actually viable.
When that day came, the idea was fitworking.
Testing the proof of concept, in summer 2025 was amazing, and I'm so grateful for all who've supported.
Come and investigate, and let's enjoy the journey together.

Meet the Team
Each of these are friends first, and collaborators second.
I hope you get to learn as much from them as I do, both through fitworking and supporting their own ventures.

yoga.
Bev
Bev was initially drawn to yoga through attending classes on the beach in the Gower. The holistic setting inspired a career change from running a children's hair salon! Bev had plenty of years of high energy fitness class teaching to prepare her for the calmer yoga teaching journey she embarked upon once living back in Oxfordshire.
She's always had a keen interest in the mechanics of the body, and Bev is excited by bones and muscles and seeing people reach mental and physical goals while finding community too.

Rebecca
Rebecca is a senior lecturer in philosophy at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is the author of For F*ck’s Sake: Why Swearing is Shocking, Rude, and Fun and is currently working on a book about indirect communication. She is the host of The Academic Imperfectionist podcast.
Despite all this sitting around thinking, exercise is an important part of her life: she enjoys running, lifting weights, and yoga.
Rebecca can invariably be found at parkrun on Saturday mornings (and eating brunch afterwards).

Qian
Qian (aka Amanda Ye) was born and grew up in Shanghai, China, before living and studying in Tokyo. She moved to Europe, living in Norway and Germany before settling in the UK in 2018 - once she'd found a lovely little village called North Leigh.
Although Qian's yoga journey started many years ago, it wan't until she found Ashtanga that it became a more regular practice and passion. Her dedication is infectious and her desire for continuous improvement is evidenced in the number of training courses she takes herself!
She is so happy to learn and benefit from it and loves to share her expertise - whether yoga or sound baths - with others ready to embrace their mat.

zumba.
Virginia
Virginia discovered Zumba® through her love of Latin dance and group fitness, quickly realising how uplifting it felt to move with others to rhythms from all around the world. That spark grew into a passion strong enough to take her from participant to licensed instructor.
With a background as a graphic designer for charities, Virginia brings her creative energy into her classes, blending salsa, merengue, reggaeton and more into sessions that feel more like a party than a workout.
Originally from Spain, now based in Witney, she’s passionate about building community through movement, creating a welcome space for everyone to let go, break a sweat, and leave feeling better than when they walked in.
